About Lattetude
In the beginning...
Lattetude coffee shop first opened in Waterford, Ireland in November 2004. I felt there was a gap in the market for a speciality coffee shop that could provide customers with the great coffee that they deserved! Lattetude coffee shop serves only premium 100% Arabica coffee, made the way each customer likes it.
And the name...?
The name Lattetude came from my desire to have a type of a coffee in the name (latte) and also get across that I would be serving customers with a positive and professional atti(tude). The name also ties in with the fact that the finest Arabica coffee beans are only grown between two lines of latitude: 23.5N and 23.5S, which is found only in high elevations, and picked by hand. So the name Lattetude, for me, brought together my philosophy of having the finest coffee, and providing good service.
For me, a good cup of coffee every day is one of life's simple pleasures.
